Academy of Fine Arts Doctoral Programme for Artistic Research at UNIARTS Helsinki
Maiju Loukola is an artist-researcher, Doctor of Arts, and a university lecturer at the Doctoral programme at the Academy of Fine Arts / UNIARTS Helsinki. Maiju works with site and situation sensitive urban space installations and interventions. Her research focuses on the aesthetics, politics and speculative practices of urban space examined in relation to democratization of space, peripherality and senses.
